Concrete Youth has been shortlisted for two categories at the National Arts & Cultural Education Awards 2026, marking an exciting moment for the Hull based charity and its growing national impact.
The organisation is recognised for the Innovators in Engagement Award, celebrating its pioneering approach to sensory theatre and education. Alongside this, Annabelle Lee, Head of Education and Engagement, has been named a finalist for the One to Watch Award.
Concrete Youth continues to champion sensory theatre and research‑led education with and for people labelled with profound and multiple learning disabilities. National recognition for this work - and for Annabelle’s contribution - highlights the charity’s commitment to accessible, inclusive arts practice.
The team will join fellow finalists from across the UK’s arts, cultural and education sectors at the awards ceremony in Manchester this October.
