Former BDRMM drummer Conor is heading in a new musical direction with the launch of his solo project Larker, and debut single Millipede is due for release on 5th November.
After spending several years behind the drums for Hull shoegaze band BDRMM, Conor is now exploring a more electronic and experimental sound, bringing together heavy bass, live drums and layers of synths.
During his time with BDRMM, he recorded two studio albums and performed across the UK and Europe, sharing stages with artists including Mogwai, IDLES and Loyle Carner.

His first release as Larker, Millipede, is built around a driving bassline and heavy kick drum, with expansive synths adding to the track's late-night electronic feel.
Drawing inspiration from artists such as Bonobo, Four Tet, Radiohead and Mogwai, the project brings together Conor's background in live music with his interest in electronic production.
The track has already caught the attention of BBC Introducing ahead of its release, giving the new project some early support.
And there's more planned beyond the debut single, with further music and collaborations expected throughout 2027.
Millipede will be available on major streaming platforms from Thursday 5th November. You can follow Larker on Instagram at @top_larker
