Hull & East Yorkshire Fashion Week is making a bold comeback - and it’s set to put designers, creative businesses and students firmly in the spotlight. Running from Saturday 30 May to Saturday 6 June, this year’s theme, ‘Future in Fashion’, celebrates the region’s creative talent while inspiring the next generation.
Led by local fashion brand HOUSEOFTUYI, the week long programme brings together high profile events, community showcases and hands on experiences across some of Hull’s most iconic locations. After a decade away, Fashion Week is returning with the ambition to become a major annual moment for the region’s creative scene.
Hull Trade Fair – Sat 30 May, Trinity Market
A lively launch day featuring fashion designers, accessory makers, skincare brands, vintage sellers, live demos, music and food. Over 100 East Riding College students will showcase their work.
Vision Reveal – Wed 3 June
A private preview night at Monocle, offering partners and supporters a first look at Fashion Week’s long term vision and a mini runway from
HOUSEOFTUYI.
Hair & Beauty Walk – Thu 4 June, Jubilee Church
A full day celebrating local salons, barbers, MUAs and students, with interactive stations, talks and live demonstrations.
Theatre of Dreams – Fri 5 June, Queen Victoria Square
Fashion meets performance in an open‑air blend of runway moments, dance, music and storytelling, created with students from the University of Hull and East Riding College.
The Big Stage – Sat 6 June
A high production finale featuring student collections, regional designers, red carpet arrivals and press interviews - hosted by the Federation of Sport.
Creative businesses across the region - from designers and jewellery makers to photographers, stylists and hospitality venues - are encouraged to take part.
