Henry Moore Foundation Accepting Applications for Next 2026 Funding Round
The Henry Moore Foundation is inviting applications from not‑for‑profit organisations for work that strengthens and celebrates sculpture - from historic and modern practices to contemporary approaches, as well as research that deepens public understanding.
They support several strands of activity:
New commissions - Up to £20,000 for projects that introduce fresh ideas about sculpture or its history, or that help broaden public engagement.

Acquisitions and collections - Up to £20,000 for museums and galleries to acquire, conserve, catalogue or display sculpture

Research and development

Long‑term grants up to £20,000 for multi year projects such as cataloguing permanent collections

Small research grants up to £2,500 for academics, curators and independent researchers exploring sculpture’s history or interpretation

Conferences, publications and events - Up to £5,000 to publish new work or deliver talks, conferences or other sculpture focused activity
There are four deadlines each year. This round supports projects beginning or opening to the public from 1 January 2027 onwards.
The next application deadline is 1 September 2026 (23:00).
