Hull Truck are Hiring a Head of Production
Contract: Permanent, full time
Salary: £40K - £45K per annum, depending on experience
Hull Truck Theatre is seeking an experienced Head of Production to lead their Production Department, overseeing Stage, Technical (Lighting and Sound) teams, and managing freelance stage management and wardrobe/costume staff recruited for their produced programme. The role is supported by a Production Administrator and, when required, freelance Production Managers.
The Head of Production will champion and maintain the highest standards of health and safety, shaping policy and best practice across all production areas of the building.
Working closely with the Artistic Director, Executive Director, and Producer/Programmer, the Head of Production plays a key role in delivering quality productions and supporting the Associate Director on creative learning projects. The Artistic Director leads on artistic vision and quality, while the Executive Director oversees organisational operations, staffing, resources and finance.
This role is responsible for leading, managing and developing the Production Department to ensure all shows and events - both within Hull Truck Theatre and off site - are delivered safely, efficiently and to an exceptional standard.
