Arts Council Supports Grassroots Music With Funding

Jointly funded by the Department for Culture, Media and Sport and Arts Council England, Supporting Grassroots Music (SGM) aims to strengthen and sustain the grassroots music sector.

The programme provides investment for venues, festivals, promoters, recording studios, rehearsal spaces and sector organisations working at grassroots level. It also helps sector bodies develop the support and infrastructure the industry needs to thrive.

Eligible projects focus on helping artists, bands and music professionals build sustainable careers, while also growing new audiences and supporting the wider grassroots music ecosystem.

Round 10 has a deadline of midday on Thursday 28 May 2026 with decisions announced on Monday 27 July 2026.
