The North East area ward is full of community centres which foster welfare, social, cultural and educational development. Each centre has a number of events and activities throughout the week.

Community Centres
There are a number of Neighbourhood Centres in the North East Area including Alf Marshall Centre, The Astra Youth Centre, St Andrews Community Centre, Bodmin Road Church, Kingswood Community Centre managed by revive Church and finally the North Bransholme Community Centre.
Open Spaces
The ward is home to s mix of open spaces including traditional playing fields on Grampian Way and Kinloss playing fields alongside the tranquil and established nature reserve at Noddle Hill which features walking routes as well as a scenic fishing lake. The site also contains a children's play area and sports pitches.
Library
Library provision in the ward is found in the Bransholme Library, within the North Point Shopping Centre. Bransholme Library is central to the local community, offering access to a wide range of media and playing host to a number of events to improve the skills and wellbeing of local people.
The North East area includes Sutton, West Carr, North Carr and Kingswood.
